Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating the retirement of an extraordinary leader and colleague—our Vice President of Operations, Mark Carifa. After 22 years of dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment, Mark is stepping into a well-earned retirement.
It’s difficult to put into words the profound impact he has had on D.A. International Casting Company, but we honored him the best way we could—with a heartfelt sendoff surrounded by our team, great food, and cherished memories.
From the moment he joined us, Mark brought more than just expertise—he brought integrity, loyalty, and a steady hand that guided us through both challenges and successes. Whether leading major projects, mentoring employees, or fostering strong relationships with customers, Mark played an instrumental role in shaping the company we are today. His leadership, problem-solving, and ability to navigate the ever-evolving world of castings and forgings have been invaluable.
While we are excited for Mark as he embarks on this new chapter, his absence will be deeply felt. His legacy will live on in the strong foundation he helped build, and his influence will continue to be reflected in the way we do business.
